One of these days, I will be a big-time movie producer.Until then, I'll just do stuff like Space Rogues and Gentleman's Agreement. |
Space Rogues is an epic science-fiction comedy series of over one hundred episodes, of which five have been shot, three have been completed, and no more are likely. You can learn much more on the Galtham Films page, but here on this page is the only place on the web you can watch an actual episode. |
Space Rogues is set in a future where humans have wrecked the Earth, so humanity has left for other planets in slow-moving ships capable of only the single trip. Hundreds of years after this exodus, a researcher in the Paradisio solar system has discovered a spaceship engine which could reunite scattered humanity - but the colony's scheming leader plans to use it to rule all the colonies. Our heroes, the fun-loving, somewhat shady crew of an interplanetary cargo ship, become caught in the middle. |

Gentleman's Agreement was the first video production collaborated on by Jerry Conner and myself. Both of us play the Shadowrun role-playing game, and we decided to attempt a promotional video for the game's publisher. |
The plot involves a corporate computer programmer being cheated out of the proper rewards for his efforts, after which he hires a shadowrunning team to recover his due. The team meets minimal opposition from a night watchman, security programs in the computer, and the corp's Security Chief and his mage assistant; but the run succeeds when the programmer reveals himself as a 'physical adept' whose magical ability gives him extreme speed. |

You can find QuickTime for Macintosh and Windows at Apple's QuickTime site. If you use Linux or other Unix flavors, may I suggest some of the links on Google's QuickTime on Linux page. |
